Italy is universally recognised the cradle of music and it has always been the pride of a wide band tradition; many bands are set on territory and they support this ultra - centenary culture with concerts and parades. The World Championships for Marching Show Bands has as target to promote interest for the band music on national and international territory and improve the cultural and musical exchange among youngsters from all walks of life, traditions and religions that are here together. Here in Monza about 2000 players, coming from the five Continents, will play together the Hymn for peace and solidarity to demonstrate that the language of the music is able to overcome every difference in such a fragile moment of political balance.
