Stop&Play Parade competition
When the band starts it must perform 16 bars accompanied by the percussions. During the 16 percussion bars the performers must take two positions:

1. March with instruments in marching position for the first eight bars
2. March with instruments in playing position from strokes 9 to 16

from the seventeenth bar the band starts the performance of the first piece.

Course
The band performs following the marked course on the field, with this progression: A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,L,M.

During the course the compulsory movements are:
a)to the term of the first piece the percussion take part with a free number of bar and band in movement,
b)to the term, band stop and immedite execution of the second piece
c)free departure
d)to the term I, the band carry out an inversion, to the term L the bend carry out another invbersion

Rules - Parade competitiona
1.Band may freely choose the authors and nationalities of the music they perform;
2.Four scores of the pieces to play during the competition - with numbered measures - must come to the Organising Committee within one month before the competition;
3.The responsability of the reproduction of the scores is at the band's expense;
4.Two categories are expected: Stop & Play - Free style
5.The presence of bands accompanied by a choreographic group (color guard, majorettes, etc) is allowed only for the Free Style category;
6.The competition will follow an 8 m wide track that curves lengthwise. It will be marked on the field;
Performing time is : minimum 5 minutes - maximum 8 minutes, time is calculated from the "starting signal" with the band lined up on the starting line until the last part of the band passes the end line of the course;
The overcoming of time limit will penalize the band of 0.05 points for every second late;
Pieces must be played by heart.

The entry on the field, independently from the category one belongs to, must be performed in formation and at march step with a free style (either the whole band plays or just the percussions) and following the course "pre start".
When the band reaches the "start" position it stops, the instruments take the position "standing at ease" and they wait for the starting signal given verbally by the jury. At this moment the jury begins to judge the performance
