Regulations
The competition will be held at the Carlo Speroni stadium in Busto Arsizio.
The stadium’s approximate capacity is 5,000 seats located in the field box, upper box and upper reserve.
Field dimensions: length 109 m – width 64 m.
Field markings for the show band competition will be given in yards and comply with the DCI system.
Field markings for the parade competition will be given in linear meters.
The jury will be placed in front of the competition field.
The meeting place for the bands will be their reserved parking area.
All bands will be given 15 minutes to warm up in a special area half an hour before the display.
Bands must arrive at least one hour before the competition commences.
Bands that fail to arrive at the established time for no justifiable reason will be excluded from the competition.
It is forbidden to play any instruments just near the stadium.
It is forbidden to make use of power generators and motor operated trolleys to convey instruments inside the stadium.
Supportive instruments (i.e. marimba, tympani….) and choreographic items (i.e. flags…) must be personally carried into the field and removed at the close of the display.
Every band must be ready at the competition field entrance soon after the band that precedes it starts performing.
A special judge will give the start signal for the competition.
Conductors may conduct more than one band, but performers may only play in one band.
