Dear friends of music,
We in Potsdam are glad very much about the fact that you think about a participation in the World Championship of the Marching show volume 2010
in Potsdam.
Now we wont to get after the summer holidays into the detailed organisation of the event. To help You in Your decision on a trip to Potsdam, we transmit to you the following information,
First to the information the topical program of the event week state 15.09.2009 with competition, supporting program and tourism program.

For every band individually spare time, tourism programme, tests and concerts.
If you are interested in a participation in the World Championship in Potsdam, the following questions must be cleared.
1. Appropriate of the regulation of WAMSB there are conditions on the start with a world championship WAMSB. These conditions are published in the advertising.
One can read up them, however, also under
WAMSB
The band can take part in the competition show or in the competition parade or also in both disciplines.
2. New assessment criteria are valid for the competitions with the world championship in Potsdam.
These are added this email as an arrangement.

3.To the technical organisation for us as an organizer is the following information of great
importance.
Names of the orchestra
Band manager/ contact
Journey day/ day of departure
Journey by airplane or coach
Number of the people male/ female
Desired lodging in a gymnasium or hotel
Participation in show competition
Participation in march competition
With this information we can calculate the costs for the orchestra. The participation fee amounts per day and person to 32€.
Included Full catering with three meals on the day, lodging in a gymnasium. Theentry fee, the Bustransfer from and to Berlin airport, the coach transfer to the competitions and concerts in Potsdam and surroundings and this is enclosed in it food with Barbecue.
In the 32€ are not the costs contain for hotel lodgings and for tourist achievements.

The organizer is with the arrangement of a tourism program. Every orchestra has the possibility to book from it achievements.
We offer:
- City tour in Potsdam
- City tour in Berlin
- Inspection of the castle arrangements Sanssouci
- Visit of the film park Babelsberg
At this time we took together, the prices of these tourist achievements.
Of course the achievements of commercial tourism suppliers can be also taken up when required.
The organizer offers a lending service for music instruments for the event week to save if necessary carriage for the band.

The organizer expects from every participant orchestra in the course of the week two concerts in the supporting program without fee. However,
with interest other commercial concerts can be also given.
On Saturday 31st of August a big town Party with up to 70,000 visitors takes place in the old town of Potsdam.
We want this event in the time from 15: 00 o´clock to 21:00 o´ clock with concerts or an parade of the Marching Band enrich. In addition 3- 4 concerts places are recorded in the city.
Of Band have the interest in these concerts, should inform us of this.
Of course all orchestra members are invited to visit of this town party.
There are many stages with Lifemusic, dance and Catering. All shops have opened. The entry is free.
